  • Herniated Discs: Many problems originating in the spine are a result of the spaces between the bones called intervertebral discs. These discs have two main parts: a fibrous outer wall called the annulus and a soft inner nucleus. When the fiber walls of the outer vertebrae crack, the soft inner nucleus can push through and put pressure on the nerve root. This herniation can then cause pain to radiate down one or both of the legs.
